SPACEWORKS

Spaceworks has developed an eye-catching range of bionic furniture - and you won't need to shell out $6m to enjoy it. The eco-friendly bionics range is made entirely from recycled materials, mainly old engine parts and crushed yoghurt pots. Included in the line-up is the bionics monster bar, scorpion bistro table, snakes cocktail table and alien stool. This latest green innovation joins Spaceworks' new eco chair, made entirely from sustainable wood. The chair is designed to be flat-packed, which means more can be stacked into a lorry, reducing transportation and therefore nasty carbon emissions.

MIDAS

With oil supplies dwindling, biofuels could be the answer when it comes to power supply at shows. Midas has developed what it claims to be the UK's only fleet of green biodiesel generators powered by recycled vegetable oil. Machines are available in a range of sizes and come as fast-tow trailer-mounted, standalone or truck-mounted. The generators are supplied with automatic mains failure control panels and 'super silent' canopies as standard.
