United Business Media has had to cancel today's launch of its PMEC exhibition in Mumbai with immediate effect, following last night's terrorist attacks on the Indian city.
This has also cast doubt on tomorrow's launch of the global exhibition organiser's CPhi India show.
The company has 100 people based in Mumbai, but discovered last night they were all safe, according to an announcement by UBM group chief executive David Levin at the AEO conference in Brighton today (27 November).
