Electronic Arts (EA) is building of one of the largest ever temporary structures to be erected in Trafalgar Square as part of its 'Be The One' event which opens this Friday.
From 31 October to 1 November, members of the public will be able to play some of the latest EA and EA-partner games and get their hands on video games that have yet to be released as part of the London Games Festival.
The vast transparent weather-proof construction will be home to the ‘Battle Dome' and will feature an array of the latest next-generation games consoles, hi-tech screens and the latest in PC gaming.
It will also host the main stage, where a series of celebrity and public gaming challenges and live music performances will take place.
"We're proud to bring back Be The One as part of the many celebrations and events at the London Games Festival," said Vice President for EA in the UK, Ireland and Nordics, Keith Ramsdale. "Interactive entertainment is now an established part of family entertainment. Be The One showcases our games in a highly entertaining event format."
Last year's event attracted more than 30,000 visitors and featured performances from Kelly Rowland, The Hoosiers and L'il Chris.
The event will be managed and co-ordinated by Attention Seekers and staffed by around 60 of Circle Agency's personnel.
