TAO Group wins contract for The Palladium Dubai

Event agency TAO Group has won the contract to consult on Dubai's new multi-purpose art venue The Palladium.
The venue will be the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa and will cost £22m (US$32.6million) to build. It is due to open in January 2009.
TAO Group will consult on the technical fit of the venue, stewarding and medical appointments, traffic and pedestrian planning, occupational safety and technical specifications to ease the attendance of touring productions.
The Palladium will be able to hold more than 5,000 people for concerts and will feature a movable stage, configurable acoustics, foldable and retractable seats.
