The LA-style dive bar brings a touch of rock and roll to North London
Where is it? On Upper Street in Islington.
What is it? The UK's first LA-style dive bar, defined by its rock and roll music policy and expansive array of liquors.
What's it got? Slim Jim's Liquor Store allows guests to experience the secretive congeniality of a dive bar, within a contemporary setting. Bare brick walls, neon lights and 1950s furniture are predominant features. The bar can cater for single party bookings of up to 40 people any night of the week, or exclusive events for up to 100 guests on Monday evenings. Music is an integral part of the experience and as well as a juke box featuring classics from The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Kings of Leon the venue will host regular acoustic nights.
