London's newest members bar has fake ostrich skin furniture, cut-ice bars and spun-silk ceilings.
Where is it? In a converted five storey Georgian townhouse on South Molton Street, in London's West End.
What is it? A new members lounge and restaurant, Molton House opened at the end of November.
What's it got? Designed by co-founder Nick Valentine and agency Blacksheep the venue has a 'regal and rhiad' theme, and features elaborate furniture upholstered in fake snake, stingray and ostrich skin, cut-ice bars and ceilings covered in glass spun silk. Split over four floors, it houses a ground floor greeting area, a 130-capacity club, a 40-capacity cocktail bar, a 30-cover restaurant and a private dining area that can hold up to 20. Each of the floors can be hired either individually or collectively for private events. When hired out in its entirety it can accommodate up to 220 guests.
